Group letter or individual letter
We are two persons applying - but we arrive on different flights. As we do not wish to share passport information with other passengers, can we do a group letter (2 of us) or do we have to apply separately for individual letters?
Also, I understand that to avoid queuing, I can add 20 usd. Do I have to call on arrival or just arrive at the counter and ”jump“ the queue??

RE: Single entry visa
Hello sir,
You have the Visa approval letter with single entry, it can not be changed into the letter for multiple entries. If you does not enter Vietnam yet, you should apply for a new Visa letter with multiple entries.
In case you enter Vietnam with the Visa for single entry, when you exit, the Visa will be finished immediately. You must apply for a new Visa letter to enter Vietnam again.
Need further information, please feel free to contact us.

Single Entry / re-entry
Regarding the new letter for re-entry, is it ok to apply while already in Vietnam on the original single entry visa? My family entered together but my spouse and one son have to go to Hong Kong for a few days and then return to meet us, I want to make sure they can apply for new letter even though they are already here. Thank you.

Entering Vietnam
Hi,

I'm a Malaysian. Recently I've been told that in 1 month I cannot travel to Vietnam two times. For instance if I enter Vietnam on 1 April, and leave on 5 April. I can only enter Vietnam again after 30 April. If I want to go Vietnam again on 15 April, I can't cause it's less than 1 month.

Is this true?

Multiple visa required to enter and exit Vietnam multiple times within 30 days?
Hi,
May I know what are the procedures like to apply for visa for a Poland/UK passport holder to travel to Vietnam and exit Vietnam and return to Vietnam within the following week? So it will be two trips entering Vietnam within one month itself. Or can they just apply visa once and the visa will allow multiple visits within a certain period of time?

Please help to clarify!
Thank you.

RE: Multiple visa required to enter and exit Vietnam multiple times within 30 days?
Hello madam,
At present, UK citizens will be free for 15 days of Vietnam Visa. To get the free Visa, your entry date must be more than 30 days from the last exit date Vietnam.
In your situation, you enter Vietnam 2 times, you can choose to get the Visa for 1 time and get free Visa for 1 time.
* Our suggestion:
- First entry: You get Visa on arrival for this time (Cause Visa on arrival is just available for Air travel only. You get the Visa when you fly to Vietnam for the first time).
- Second entry: Get free Visa for this time. You can get the free Visa by any ports from air to land. No matter you come to Vietnam by bus, airplane or ship.

RE: Transit in Ho Chi Minh
Hello Pav,
You should check with your flight agent to make sure that you can check-in and take another flight for transit.
As our experience, you should apply for multiple entries Visa if you book the flight from Yangon to Tan Son Nhat airport and different flight from Tan Son Nhat airport to your country. Because you need to get out to get your luggage and check-in again to come back for another flight.
Different flight will not take care of your luggages.
To avoid any problems, we recommend you apply multiple entries Visa.
Need further information, please feel free to contact us.

RE: visa needed?
Hello Cynthia Tan,
Thank you so much for your question. We give the answer one by one as below:
1/. At present, Filipino passport holders will be free for 21 days of Vietnam Visa. If you just stay in Vietnam less than 21 days, you do not need to apply the visa. Just use your passport and fly to Vietnam directly.
2/. Vietnam visa is required for US citizens. Effective August 30, 2016, US citizens may apply for a 1 year multiple entry visa for Vietnam. It does not matter how long you plan to stay in Vietnam. "All Visa applications of US citizens will be issued for 1 year multiple entries Visa." Other types of Vietnam Visa including: 1 month single and multiple entries, 3 months single and multiple entries is NO more valid. Therefore, your husband need to apply 1 year Visa. Visa on arrival is OK for him.

I am travelling to Vietnam on 01-May-2016 with my wife and 2kids from Guangzhou, China. We live here and we are from Nepal. We had applied VISA from Vietnam consulate in Guangzhou and already received the VISA, but today while checking the details I found that the VISA is valid from 02-May-2016~02- Jun-2016 but we will arrive there on 01-May-2016 by China Southern Airlines from Guangzhou. Kindly suggest, what I should do now, I am travelling with the Kids so don't want to have trouble on the way. Kindly reply at its earliest so that I can arrange accordingly. I already bought my Flight Tickets and also booked and pay for the Hotel in Hanoi from 01-May-2016. Please help.
Thanks.

visa/immigratio n processing in HCMC or Da Nang
Hi
We arrive into vietnam into HCMC from Cambodia by plane. We will be at the airport for about 2-3 hrs before boarding an internal flight to Da Nang. Will we need to be processed for immigration and visa in HCMC airport, or can we stay in transit and be processed in Da Nang instead. I would prefer Da Nang as we wont be rushed like we may be in HCMC to catch the connecting flight.
thank you.

Please check more information about the fee on the link https://www.vietnamimmigration.org/fee-for-vietnam-visa .

RE: multiple visas
Hello Janice,
For the entry Vietnam, the cheapest way to obtain the visa is Visa on arrival. You can apply online and get the visa upon arrival. The fee is just around 15$ + 25$ for the stamping fee. It is totally cheapper than you apply the visa at embassy of Vietnam. Moreover, you do not need to come to the embassy as well. It will save your time much.
For Cambodian and Thai Visa, please contact the embassy of these countries for further information.
Any question, please feel free to contact us.

Visa Cancellation at the airport
Hi,
I've heard that some people who hold a B3 Multiple entry Visa with work permits are having some trouble at the airport due to the immigration officers are cancelling the B3 visas when they leave the country and having to pay lots of money when they return because of such visa cancellation.
The explanation I've heard is that the new law has different visa codes, the equivalent to a B3 is now an LD visa.
I hold a B3 Visa valid until may, I understand that they shouldn't cancel my visa because it's still valid.
Can you give me some information about this situation?
I have a work permit and I asked for an approval letter at my work.
Thanks.

Hi Eric,
You may not need a visa if you just stay within the airport lounge because you do not pass the customs. However, some airlines will require a visa before they allow you to board the plane, so it is advised that you contact your airline agent for further information. Hope the information is useful.

Airport transit visa
Dear Sir/Madam,

I am a ghanaian passport holder and I'm currently studying in Russia. I'm visiting Singapore and I'll be transiting through Vietnam with Vietnam air. I am staying in Singapore for 2 months and on my return, I will also transit through Vietnam.

I would like to find out if I will need transit visa, although I wouldn't go out of the airport since time between connecting flights is only 1 hour.

Thank you.

Please note that your passport must be valid for at least 6 months so than you can enter Vietnam in this case.

RE: Service fee for difficult countries
For foreigners who hold African passport holders (Except South Africa) and Middle East countries such as Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Cameroon, UAE, Kuwait, Qatar… there are following conditions to make Viet Nam visa:

1. There must be a company (or someone) in Viet Nam guarantee (The company will guide the procedure to make guarantee documents for clients)

2. Send us the scan of two-way ticket (return ticket) and the scan of passport.

3. Service fee vary for each country and we will inform about the fee after checking your details.

We would like to inform that Jordan is also in this list.
