From March 2020, the Vietnam Immigration Department has decided to suspend the issuance of Vietnam visas in an effort to stop the spread of Novel Coronavirus, also known as Covid 19. Vietnam has also imposed several travel restrictions on foreign nationals entering the country.

Due to Covid 19, Vietnam’s travel and tourism industry have been badly affected by the major decline of tourist visits in the country. This was all because of the coronavirus outbreak, which has also disrupted the rest of the world.

The standard processing time of the e-visa is 3-5 business days. However, there are instances when this will be delayed.

The online tourist visa that you can get for Vietnam is valid for only one entry into the country and you can stay for up to thirty days during this time.  The same tourist e-visa cannot be used for leaving and coming to the country one more time.

The usual processing time for Vietnam e-visa for tourist takes anywhere between 24 hours to 72 hours. Only in rare scenarios it can take longer than that.
