How To Make Application For Visa On Arrival Vietnam

This article is about to give you an idea on how to apply online to request for Visa On Arrival & How to pick up your  visa on arrival when you arrive.

Before making your visa application, please make sure your passport still valid for at least 6 months with 2 blank pages.

For getting visa on arrival Vietnam,  you are required  to apply online for obtain a visa approval letter (also called pre-approval visa). You can apply online easy without documents required.

 

👉 Steps to apply online

 

Step 1 – Log on the website and click apply now to request visa approval letter.

At this step, you are required to select your citizenship, purpose of visit, visa type, port of arrival and entry/exit date. Rush service is available to select at this step.

Step 2 : Providing your email address & passport information

After select your visa option at step 1, click next to Providing your email address & passport information.

The email address use to contact for support and receive the visa approval letter.

To provide your passport information, you can choose to upload scanned copy of your passport’s bio page (Sample for passport’s bio page) OR you can choose to type as normal

Step 3 : Review your order and make payment

After providing all information as needed, now you can click next to review your order again to make sure no error or mistake. You can edit your order at this step.

Then click pay now to get your order processing.

Wait for 2 working days (if you choose standard service) or sooner (if choose rush service) to receive the visa approval letter via email. It will be in a PDF file. Print this letter and bring it with you to your flight to Vietnam

 

👉 How to pick up your visa when you arrive ?

 

Upon arrival at the airport, you will see the “Landing Visa Counter”. You are advised to stop at this place to get the visa into your passport before queuing in line at Passport Control for immigration checks.

At the “Landing Visa Counter”, you are required to submit your original passport + the visa approval letter + completed form NA1 (you can down load the Vietnamese-visa-application-form (Form NA1) to fill, sign and attached a photo of your face on it – see Photo guide) then wait to be called for paying the stamping fee for getting your visa.

Please note that there is an extra amount you are required to pay on arrival for picking up your visa there, that is called stamp fee.
