Vietnam e-visa requirements for Swedish passport holders

Swedish citizens who wish to apply for an e-visa to Vietnam can simply go online and apply from the website of Vietnam Immigration. Of course, as with any visa application, you are required to submit certain requirements. Here are the things you need to prepare for your e-visa application:

  • Passport – Your passport is the most important requirement for your Vietnam e-visa application. You will be asked to upload a scanned copy of the page that displays important information such as your name, passport number, etc (Sample for passport’s bio page). The passport should be valid for six months from your entry date.
  • Photo : Photo guide
  • Credit card or debit card – you’ll be asked to pay for the processing fee during your visa application. Therefore, you need to have a debit card or credit card ready. If you have a PayPal account, you can also use this for payment. See Vietnam visa fees update.
  • Valid email address – your e-visa will be sent to you online. Therefore, in order for you to receive a copy of your e-visa, you must have a valid or working email address.
