Vietnam e-visa Application Process

To guide you into the whole process of applying for the visa, here are the steps:

  1. Go to the Vietnam Immigration’s website and choose the option to apply for the Vietnam e-visa.
  2. You’ll be prompted to fill out the application form. So provide everything that is being asked of you.
  3. Review the information and go to the next page to upload a scanned copy of your passport’s bio page (Sample for passport’s bio page) and a photo of your face (Photo guide).
  4. Pay the processing fee using your card or PayPal.
  5. Wait for an email confirming that the payment has been successful and the visa is already in process.

In about 3 to 5 business days, you’ll receive an email about the status of your e-visa application. If you’ll not hear from them in a week, send them an email for a follow-up. For those who need a rush processing of their visa, you need to pay around $40 or more. However, you could get the visa in as fast as 24 hours, so it’s really worth it!
