How Much Does It Cost to Renew Vietnam Visa?

Just like with applying for a new visa, you will be asked to pay the processing fee when applying for a Vietnam visa renewal. Take note that the visa renewal is different from the visa extension so the cost of a visa renewal is different from the visa extension. Also, the visa renewal is also more expensive compared to the visa extension since you will be getting a new visa sticker instead of only a visa stamp.

Another factor that could affect the cost of the Vietnam visa renewal is the duration. The maximum length of time that you can renew your visa is for three months. If you are holding a one-month visa, you can have this renewed for three months. It’s also possible to upgrade a single-entry visa to multiple entries.

The cost of a Vietnam visa renewal is 75 US dollars for one month, single-entry. If you need to renew your visa for three months, single-entry, you can expect to pay around 120 US dollars. But if you want a three-month visa that’s good for multiple entries, you can expect to pay around 160 US dollars. There are local agencies that can process the visa renewal on your behalf. If you will hire them, you can expect to pay about 10 percent more for the service fee, depending on the agency.
