How to Get your Vietnam E-visa

Of all the Vietnam visas you can apply for, it is the Vietnam e-visa that’s the easiest to avail. Here’s how you can get this visa:

1. First, go online and access the website where you can apply for the Vietnam e-visa.
2. Read all the instructions carefully and click on the box that says “Confirm”, if you have understood the instructions. Click on the next page to upload your photo and passport copy.
3. Provide all the information that is being asked from you, such as your name, birth date, sex, etc. You must also provide details from your passport such as the passport number and expiration date.
4. Review the information you have provided. Then proceed to the next page if you’re certain that all the details are correct.
5. Submit the form and wait for a confirmation email. Take note of the verification code.

After 3 -5 business days, you will receive an email regarding the status of your visa. Click on the link and you’ll be taken to a page where you will be asked to provide the registration code in order to download the e-visa copy. Important Things About the E-visa

Here are some important things to keep in mind when applying for the Vietnam e-visa:

• Take note that the e-visa is only valid for one entry and you can only stay in Vietnam for a maximum of 30 days with this visa. If you plan on staying in Vietnam for more than 30 days, choose the Visa on Arrival instead.
• Review the information you have entered very carefully. If you end up typing in the wrong info, your visa could be denied.
