Vietnam E-Visa Update: National Assembly Grants 90-Day Validity

Vietnam’s National Assembly (NA) has recently granted approval for extending the validity of visitor e-visas for foreigners entering Vietnam from 30 to 90 days. This is great news for tourists looking to explore Vietnam’s beauty. The amendment will take effect on August 15, 2023, making it easier for foreigners to visit and experience the country.

Currently, Vietnam offers e-visas to citizens of 80 countries and territories. The extended validity of the e-visa will not only give more time for visitors to explore the country but also offers the flexibility of multiple entries.

The additional 60 days granted by the Vietnamese government is an exciting development and a great opportunity for tourists to experience all that Vietnam has to offer. The extended validity of the e-visa allows visitors to explore the entire country, from the beaches of Nha Trang to the markets of Hanoi. Tourists will also be able to explore the breathtaking scenery of the Mekong Delta, the jungles of Cat Ba Island, the caves of Phong Nha National Park, and the historic sites of Hue.

The government hopes that the extended validity of the e-visa will encourage more international visitors to visit Vietnam. This will not only benefit the country’s tourism industry but also contribute to the economic growth of the country. The additional 60-day validity of the e-visa will also make it easier for foreigners to do business in Vietnam, as they now have more time to conduct meetings and engage in other activities related to their work.

All in all, the recent amendment to the Vietnamese visitor e-visa is great news for all travelers. With the extended validity of the e-visa, visitors will be able to explore more of the country and have the opportunity to experience everything that Vietnam has to offer. So, take advantage of this amazing opportunity and plan your trip to Vietnam starting from August 15, 2023!
