Even though the Visa on Arrival will only be issued at the airport of Vietnam, Singaporeans who wanted to avail of this visa must apply online in advance. In exchange, they will be given a pre-approval letter. The letter must be shown at the airport’s immigration office in order to get their visa.

The Visa on Arrival is highly recommended for Singaporeans who wanted to stay in Vietnam for a much longer time. Here’s how to apply for the Vietnam visa on arrival.
- Fill out the online application form. Enter your complete name, passport details, and other important information for the processing of the visa.
- Make a payment and submit the application. Wait for an email for a copy of the pre-approval letter.
- When you receive the letter, print it out and bring it with you to Vietnam.

Things to Keep In Mind
For Singaporeans who will only be visiting Vietnam for less than a month, there’s no longer a need to get a visa.
