Vietnam E-visa for Citizens of the United States

Citizens of the United States who are traveling to Vietnam must first secure a visa before they can enter the country. The good news is that acquiring a visa to Vietnam is now so easy for US passport holders.

Starting last February of 2017, in an effort to attract more foreign travelers into their country, the Vietnam Immigration has introduced the Vietnam e-visa. This eliminates the need for foreign visitors to go to an embassy and send in their visa application. The e-visa is eligible to citizens of more than 80 countries including those who are from the United States.
