Visa Exemption Agreement Between Vietnam – Algeria

According to the Agreement between the Governments of Vietnam and Algeria on visa exemption for citizens holding diplomatic and official passports. Signed on June 30, 1994, and effective from January 2, 1995.

  • Holders of diplomatic passports and official passports are exempted from visa requirements for a temporary stay of up to 90 days. If they wish to extend their stay beyond 90 days, they must follow the appropriate procedures to apply for a temporary residence visa or register their residence according to the regulations of the host country.
  • Members of diplomatic missions, consular offices, and their household members are granted temporary residence visas or free registration. The visa period is valid until their term of work ends.
  • Visas for ordinary passports will be issued free of charge.
