Visa Exemption Agreement Between Vietnam – Costa Rica

Agreement between the Governments of Vietnam and Costa Rica on visa exemption for holders of diplomatic or official passports. The agreement was signed on July 4, 2012, and it became effective on April 1, 2016:

  • Official and diplomatic passport holders are exempt from visa for stays up to 90 days.
  • Member of diplomatic missions, consulates, and representatives at international organizations, as well as their spouses and children who hold valid diplomatic or official passports, are exempt from needing a visa for 90 days. After this period, they will need to obtain an appropriate visa for the duration of their work term.

Agreement between the Governments of Vietnam and Brunei on visa exemption for holders of diplomatic and official passports. This agreement is effective from March 14, 2023, as per the Note sent on February 12, 2023.

On August 26, 2019, an agreement was signed between the Governments of Vietnam and Botswana to exempt visa requirements for diplomatic or official passport holders. The agreement came into effect on October 25, 2019.
