Visa Exemption Agreement Between Vietnam – Czechia

Agreement on visa exemption for citizens holding diplomatic passports between Vietnam and the Czech Republic (Signed on December 15, 1999, effective from February 13, 2000)

  • Diplomatic passport holders are exempted from visa requirements and allowed to stay for up to 90 days.
  • Members of diplomatic missions, consulates, and their family members living in the same household with diplomatic passport holders are exempt from visa requirements throughout their term of employment.

Vietnam has unilaterally granted Danish citizens a visa exemption for a period of 45 days. This means that Danish passport holders can enter Vietnam without needing to obtain a visa in advance for stays of up to 45 days.

On August 30, 2007, the Governments of Vietnam and the Dominican Republic signed an agreement that exempts diplomatic and official passport holders from visas. The agreement became effective on September 29, 2007.

On September 11, 2015, the Governments of Vietnam and Cyprus signed an agreement to exempt holders of diplomatic and official passports from visa requirements. The agreement became effective on August 10, 2016.

The Vietnamese and Cuban governments signed an agreement on visa exemption for their citizens on August 31, 1981. The agreement is currently in effect.

On October 29, 2009, the Governments of Vietnam and Croatia signed an agreement to exempt diplomatic and official passport holders from visas. The agreement became effective on March 27, 2010.
