Visa Exemption Agreement Between Vietnam – Indonesia

According to the Agreement between the Government of Vietnam and the Government of Indonesia on visa exemption for ordinary passport holders (signed June 26, 2003, effective force on December 4, 2003):

  • (1) Citizens of either Party, who are holders of valid ordinary passports, shall be exempt from visa requirements for entry into, exit from (and transit through) the territory of the other Party at certain points of entry designated for international travel.
  • (2) The passport holders referred to in paragraph 1 of this Article shall be permitted to stay in the territory of the other Party for a maximum period of 03 (thirty) days, and not extendable.
  • The duration of passport validity of citizens of either Party shall be at least 6 (six) months before entering the territory of the other Party.

Agreement between Vietnam and France regarding visa exemption for short stays on a reciprocal basis for diplomatic passport holders. Signed on October 6, 2004, and effective from July 1, 2005.

On March 31, 2011, the Vietnamese and Salvadoran governments signed an agreement allowing visa exemption for diplomatic and official passport holders. The agreement became effective on May 30, 2011.
