According to the Agreement signed on June 13, 2001, between the Governments of Vietnam and Iraq on visa exemption, effective from December 1, 2001:

• Visa exemption is granted to holders of diplomatic and official passports for a temporary residence of up to 90 days. Extensions are available upon request by diplomatic missions and consulates.
• Members of diplomatic missions, consulates, international organizations, and their family members holding diplomatic and official passports are exempted from visa requirements during their working term.
