Visa Exemption Agreement Between Vietnam – Venezuela

Agreement Between The Government Of The Socialist Republic Of Vietnam And The Government Of The Bolivarian Republic Of Venezuela On Visa Exemption For Holders Of Diplomatic, Official Or Service Passports. The agreement was signed on May 24, 2006, effective from November 17, 2006.

Have agreed as follows:

Article 1

Nationals of either of the Parties, bearers of Vietnamese diplomatic, official passports or Venezuelan diplomatic, service passports, may enter, transit, remain or leave the territory of the other Party, without the necessity of acquiring a visa, for a period not more than ninety (90) days. After the expiry of the period of ninety (90) days of stay, an appropriate visa shall be required in order to remain in the territory of the other Party.

Article 2

Nationals of either of the Parties, bearers of Vietnamese diplomatic, official passports or Venezuelan diplomatic, service passports, designated to lend his service in the Diplomatic Mission, Consular Post or International Organization with headquarters located in the territory of the other Party, may enter, transit, remain or leave the territory of the other Party during the period of their assignments, without acquiring a visa.

The facility granted in this Article to the above-mentioned persons is extended to the members of their families, including their spouses, children and parents as long as they are holders of one of the categories of passports covered by this Agreement, for the period of their assignments.
