Visa Exemption Agreement Between Vietnam – Lithuania

Agreement between the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Government of the Lithuanian Republic on visa exemption for holders of diplomatic passports. Signed on January 23, 2019, effective from November 17, 2019.

Have agreed as follows:

Article 1

1. Nationals of the State of either Contracting Party, who are holders of valid diplomatic passports, shall be exempted from visa requirement for the entry into, stay in, exit from and transit through the territory of State of the other Contracting Party for a period not exceeding ninety (90) days in any period of one hundred and eighty (180) days.

2. The above mentioned exemption of visa requirement applies to the nationals of the State of either Contracting Party, who are holders of valid diplomatic passports, providing they do not undertake any gainful activity in the State of the other Contracting Party.

Article 2

Nationals of the State of either Contracting Party, who are holders of valid diplomatic passports and assigned as members of diplomatic missions or consular posts as well as representatives of international organizations located in the territory of the State of other Contracting Party, including their family members, shall be required to obtain appropriate entry visa prior to their entry.
