Visa Exemption Agreement Between Vietnam – Montenegro

Inheriting the Agreement between the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Federal Government of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia on visa exemption for holders of diplomatic and official passports. Agreement signed on June 5, 2000, effective from September 1, 2000:

  • Holders of diplomatic and official passports can stay visa-free for up to 90 days, with the possibility of an extension upon request from diplomatic missions and consulates.
  • Members of diplomatic missions, consulates, international organizations, and their families holding diplomatic or official passports are exempt from visa requirements for the duration of their employment.

Note: An agreement was signed on November 2, 2023, between Mongolia and Vietnam, which exempts holders of diplomatic, official, and ordinary passports from visa requirements. The agreement was signed by the Mongolian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Battsetseg Batmunkh, and the Vietnamese Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bui Thanh Son.
