Visa Exemption Agreement Between Vietnam – Armenia

On June 8, 2012, the Governments of Vietnam and Armenia signed an agreement on visa exemption for holders of diplomatic and official passports. The agreement became effective on October 11, 2012.

  • Visa exemption is granted to holders of diplomatic and official passports for a stay of up to 90 days.
  • Members of diplomatic missions, consulates and international organizations, along with their family members who hold diplomatic or official passports, are exempt from visa requirements for the duration of their working term. However, they must complete the residence registration process with the competent authority of the host country within 90 days of their entry.

On September 29, 1956, both sides agreed to exchange notes, which became effective on October 1, 1956. The notes related to visa exemption for individuals holding diplomatic and official passports and collective passports on official duty.
